Industry Experience
Anna has been working in the financial banking industry for 10 years, specialized in account management, client relationship management, operations, and product knowledge throughout her career. As she takes the next step in her career, she is excited to bring her passion for elevated client service and trusted relationship building to the field of wealth management.
Designations & Degrees
Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpretive Speech with a minor in History. She is fascinated by the ebb and flow of economic principles throughout history, and firmly believes that knowing where we came from economically helps us plan a more secure future. In order to support this, Anna is currently studying to complete her Canadian Securities Course and plans to further undertake the Conduct and Practices Handbook, and Wealth Management Essentials courses as soon as possible.
Boards & Councils
Anna serves on the Board of Directors for the Beaumont Society of the Arts, recently completing a term as their treasurer. She works with the board to bring arts programming (drama, dance, 2D arts, sculpture, voice performance, instrument performance, etc.) to her community of Beaumont, Alberta, with the ultimate goal of seeing a dedicated performance space built in her small city. She also serves on a scholarship committee through the Arts Society that brings arts funding to underprivileged children and youth in Beaumont. Most recently, she has also joined the board for a local community choir.
Volunteering
Having been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes early in her life, Anna finds the causes closest her heart are Children’s Hospitals and diabetes research. She has been privileged to volunteer for the Stollery at the Ronald McDonald House, and for various diabetes research fundraisers and runs throughout the years. More recently, she lost someone close to her from pancreatic cancer and is pleased to have volunteered for cancer research and awareness runs in their honour. Always happy to bring history and the arts to her community, she has spent many hours volunteering for arts events in Beaumont, and for Heritage Park in Calgary.
Outside the Office
Anna comes from a large and tight-knit family and loves spending time playing board games and tending her (always slightly dying) garden with her siblings and nieces and nephews. Anna loves travelling to places with rich, deep history, with her trip to Scotland being her absolute favourite so far, and she dreams of one day staying in a castle. She loves learning about many time periods and cultures but has a special fascination with all things Victorian (theatre, fashion, economics, literature, industry, scientific advancement, etc.), and enjoys listening to history podcasts and courses while putting together a puzzle or baking and decorating cakes.
