Industry Experience

Ashna’s role at The Schmidt Investment Group involves implementing and monitoring client wealth management solutions in accordance with clients’ financial plans and investment policies. Ashna’s responsibilities include participating in clients’ regular portfolio reviews, managing  workflow from client meetings as well as collaborating with client’s other professional advisors.

Designations & Degrees

Ashna holds a Bachelor of Applied Business Degree in Finance from NAIT and is currently working towards completing the Canadian and International Trust and Estate Practitioner designation (TEP), as well as the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

Outside the Office

In her personal time, Ashna enjoys building Lego sets, supporting local businesses and spending time with her husband, family and friends. Ashna also has a passion for connecting individuals and is the founder of Chai Connections which is a networking platform within the South Asian community focused on bringing together young South Asian professionals in Northern Alberta.
